A PLOTTER Pop-up event will be held on August 29th – 31st, 2025, at the San Francisco International Pen Show. Since PLOTTER USA debuted the brand in 2021, we love participating in this annual event that welcomes analog and stationery enthusiasts. We look forward to meeting users in person, as well as showcasing our lineup of different leather binder sizes and leather types. This is also an opportunity for fans to purchase special event-only items, limited-time leather binders, and other fun experiences.
As always at PLOTTER pop-up events, we are eager to see how users’ PLOTTERs weather and age throughout the year’s use. Let’s meet again this year at this show.

Learn about different PLOTTER Sizes and Refill Types
At our pop-up at the San Francisco International Pen Show, we will bring samples and cuts of leather to let you experience the different feel and textures of leather in our lineup. We will also be offering a limited quantity of Leather Binders in Horse Hair II Leather, Shrink Leather, Bridle Leather, and Pueblo Leather for purchase, only in A5 Size, Bible Size, and Mini 5 Size. While we are not able to bring the entire lineup of PLOTTER USA items to the event, we welcome fans and new users to browse our collection of samples to see how leather types and colors can age and gain patina over time. You are also welcome to pick up each leather binder and test the size and fit to your liking.
Event Limited Items
At the PLOTTER pop-up, we will be bringing a collection of event-limited items that you can typically only purchase through physical events. This includes event-only leather binders, unique refills, and special collaboration accessories. Please note that quantities are limited and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and we do not accept reservations online. This year, we also have exciting new items that SF Pen Show fans can look forward to at the show.
5th Anniversary Limited Sticky Note Folder (Bible Size)
The Sticky Note Folder accessory refill was first introduced during the 5th Anniversary celebration event in Tokyo. It can be used with Bible Size Leather Binders. The Sticky Note Folder is designed for convenient note-taking and tracking in your system. The refill includes sticky notes and flags of various sizes on one side of the folder: 6 colors of translucent flags and orange sticky notes paper printed with a 5mm grid layout in 2 sizes.

This is a special assortment of stickers designed to inspire PLOTTERs and all creatives on your pages. 6-Ring Desktop Color Memo Pad (A5 Size)
In collaboration with Sakuranomiya Letterpress in Tokyo, PLOTTER has released an event-limited Desktop Memo Pad featuring a variety of color paper. The head bar of the Refill Memo Pad is made with ultra-thick cardboard, antique screws, and letterpress printed by Sakuranomiya Letterpress. It’s a nostalgic style of tear-away memo pad that can be a creative companion on your desk. Each pad includes a random assortment of color paper in orange, yellow, purple, and blue (20 sheets each).

Shiranami Leather Pen Sheath
The PLOTTER Shiranami Leather Pen Sheath is crafted with PLOTTER USA’s signature Shiranami Leather. Shiranami Leather is a PLOTTER USA-exclusive leather stock that is indigo-dyed in Himeji, Japan, and finished with a white wax bloom, which will fade over time. This pen sleeve is the ideal companion for your PLOTTER Leather Binder, as it can safely store your favorite writing instrument, especially larger fountain pens, due to its wider size.

Limited 6-Ring Leather Binder Unevenly Dyed Cordovan (A5 Size)
Enjoy the unique expression of Unevenly Dyed Cordovan Leather, available in a 6-ring Leather Binder in A5 Size. This special leather was first introduced in the US during the San Francisco Pen Show 2024. It features leather from ROCADO and is hand-dyed using a sponge to create an uneven expression across the premium Cordovan horse leather. The opportunity to utilize this special leather in such a large canvas in leather binder form is rare and hard to come by. The 6-ring Unevenly Dyed Cordovan Leather Binder in A5 Size is available in blue, wine, and green.
Limited 6-Ring Leather Binder Unevenly Dyed Cordovan (A5 Size) – $375
* Please note that Cordovan leather is vulnerable to water, humidity, and perspiration. When Cordovan gets wet, white water stain-like spots will remain. Also, if left in a wet condition, blisters may occur. This is because water permeates the leather and causes the leather fibers to shrink. Please be careful not to let the leather get wet, as this can cause a significant change in the leather’s appearance. Please be careful of color transfer when the product is kept in close contact with light-colored clothes for a long time in a humid environment.
Limited Horween 6-Ring leather Binders
The connection with Horween Leather Company between PLOTTER was established in 2023, when the PLOTTER team had the opportunity to visit the tannery based in Chicago. Since then, PLOTTER has had the rare opportunity to turn Horween’s high-quality leathers, typically used for footwear, clothing, and bags, into stationery products for leather enthusiasts. We chose three unique leathers – each has its individuality, pull-up effect, and aging process.
These special edition Leather Binders are available in Cavalier Chromexcel®, Dublin, and Glove, in A5 and Bible Size only. These special edition Leather Binders also have the silkscreen printed logo of Horween Leather Company on the interior side.
Horween Cavalier Chromexcel® is a leather that is hot-stuffed with a rich blend of proprietary oils and waxes. It’s a less oily version of the brand’s Chromexcel® leather, but it shows a strong pull-up effect with bright colors.
You can enjoy the feel of durable leather in your hands when you hold a Cavalier Chromexcel® Leather Binder by PLOTTER. This leather binder is available in green with a silver backplate.
Horween Dublin is a vegetable-tanned leather infused with a rich blend of natural waxes, then hot-plated. It has a dark surface color that showcases the leather’s natural grain. The PLOTTER team picked a rugged and burnished brown color to showcase the natural look of leather.
This brown hue is paired with a rose gold backplate.
Horween Glove is a leather designed for baseball gloves, a chrome tannage that meets the demanding expectations of professional athletes. The finest full-grain hides are used for this leather to yield strength, durability, and temper ideal for repetitive use. This is also a leather that develops patina beautifully with everyday use. A stylish yellow is paired with a matte black backplate for this special edition leather binder.

Special Release – Shiranami Mini 5 Square
In August 2023, PLOTTER USA debuted its US Exclusive Japan Blue Project at the San Francisco Pen Show. This year, we’re excited to present the Shiranami Leather Binder Mini 5 Square Size to the Shiranami Leather lineup at this show. Shiranami leather is a new leather type developed by PLOTTER in conjunction with a historic tannery in Himeji, an area known for its expertise in leather. Not only is it dyed with natural indigo, but it is also inspired by “Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji” by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. The signature piece “The Great Waves off Kanagawa” depicts the turbulent, white-crested waves that dominate the scene, whilst Mt. Fuji poses quietly in the background. In Japanese, these crashing waves are called “shiranami.”
Due to the nature of the indigo dye and the degree of dye penetration based on different parts of the leather, there may be color variance in the leather expression per batch. Please enjoy the individuality of Shiranami Leather and the appeal of indigo dye.
The Mini 5 Square is a unique expansion of the PLOTTER worldview. It follows the popular Mini 5 Size but is expanded horizontally to a square for more space for writing. The new Shiranami Leather Binder in Mini 5 Square size is a PLOTTER USA Online Exclusive item that will be available in September. However, fans of the Shiranami leather will be able to purchase this new leather binder at the SF Pen Show, while supplies last.

Special Seminar: Behind the Scenes with PLOTTER USA
August 28th, Thursday 2:00 – 3:00 PM; Aspen Ballroom
In this behind-the-scenes seminar, you’ll learn about PLOTTER and its unique system planning method. From using it as a daily planner to compartmentalizing various aspects of your life, learn how this system can help you organize your plans, thoughts, and ideas in your daily routine. The USA team will also share some behind-the-scenes stories from the PLOTTER Japan team on the debut of PLOTTER TOKYO this summer. This event is free to attend and doesn’t require an RSVP.
Customize your PLOTTER Leather Binders with corner hardware
A special corner hardware customization event will be available. Embellish your PLOTTER with corner hardware in four colors: matte gold, pink gold, matte silver, and matte black. This event will be available for a fee ($20, excluding tax) for a set of four corner parts. This customization service will be available for customers on a first-come, first-served basis at the PLOTTER table starting at 1:00 PM each day, while supplies last.
*Please note that only the Shrink leather series is not eligible for this service. Due to the limited quantity of hardware, each customer can customize up to 2 leather binders, maximum.
