This summer, PLOTTER USA will be holding a Pop-up Event at Atlas Stationers during their 38th Annual Sidewalk Sale on August 14–15 from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Atlas Stationers, established in 1939, is a family-run stationery store located in the heart of Downtown Chicago. The store started with humble roots in office supplies and evolved into a sophisticated stationery store featuring fine writing instruments, inks, and quality paper products for analog enthusiasts.
PLOTTER USA will be hosting a special Pop-up Event at Atlas Stationers’ Sidewalk Sale to offer Corner Hardware Customization on new and existing PLOTTER Leather Binders as well as to offer some fun new event-exclusive PLOTTER items for Chicagoans.
Customize your PLOTTER Leather Binders with Corner Hardware
For Corner Hardware Customization service, customers can choose from four colors of corner hardware to add to an existing PLOTTER leather binder or purchase a new one from Atlas Stationers.
The customization event is available only in-store on a first-come, first-served basis. The customization fee is $20 per set of 4 corners.
*Corner Hardware Attachment Customization cannot be applied to Shrink Leather.

At PLOTTER USA Pop-up events, fans will have the opportunity to purchase special items that are only available during physical events. This includes event-only leather binders, unique refills, and special collaboration accessories. Please note that quantities are limited and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and we do not take reservations online.
Limited 6-Ring Leather Binder Unevenly Dyed Cordovan (A5 Size)
Enjoy the unique expression of Unevenly Dyed Cordovan Leather, available in a 6-ring Leather Binder in A5 Size. This special leather was first introduced in the US during the San Francisco Pen Show 2024. It features leather from ROCADO and is hand-dyed using a sponge to create an uneven expression across the premium Cordovan horse leather.
The technique utilizes two layers of dye, one lighter and one darker, to create a two-toned pattern. Since each piece is dyed individually by hand, each piece has its unique pattern and coloring.
Cordovan is a premium leather type typically utilized in crafting durable boots and footwear, lauded for its durability and patina. The opportunity to utilize it in such a large canvas in leather binder form is rare and hard to come by. The 6-ring Unevenly Dyed Cordovan Leather Binder in A5 Size is available in blue, wine, and green.
Limited 6-Ring Leather Binder Unevenly Dyed Cordovan (A5 Size) – $375
In contrast to the colorful exterior, the backside of the leather showcases the natural characteristics that leather collects through the manufacturing process. There will be unique stampings, color patches, and marks that speak to the story of the leather. This leather was a popular choice with fans during the SF Pen Show, and we are excited to introduce the larger size for a limited time.
* Please note that Cordovan leather is vulnerable to water, humidity, and perspiration. When cordovan gets wet, white water stain-like spots will remain. Also, if left in a wet condition, blisters may occur. This is because water permeates the leather and causes the leather fibers to shrink. Please be careful not to let the leather get wet, as this can cause a significant change in the leather’s appearance. Please be careful of color transfer when the product is kept in close contact with light-colored clothes for a long time in a humid environment.
PLOTTER x CARAN D’ACHE 849 Ballpoint Pen
In December 2024, PLOTTER Japan held a joint pop-up store event in Tokyo with CARAN D’ACHE, a long-established Swiss brand of writing instruments whose brand concept is synchronized with PLOTTER.
Their desire to “continue to provide writing and drawing materials that allow users to express their creativity” on a global scale and PLOTTER’s product mindset of “proposing tools for people who pioneer the future with their creativity, so that they can generate their best ideas and give shape to their conception” are very much aligned.
This special version has the PLOTTER product concept handwritten on the body of the pen. The slim packaging (metal case) with the brand story handwritten on it will also be included.

This pen sleeve is the ideal companion for your PLOTTER Leather Binder, as it can safely store your favorite writing instrument, especially larger fountain pens, due to its wider size.
